Challenge
Expanding into the U.S. market, the client needed a multilingual website to effectively communicate their traditional Korean charcoal ondol system to both B2B and B2C audiences. The challenge was to present a culturally rooted product in a way that feels both authentic and accessible to an international audience.
Solution
I designed and developed a fully responsive multilingual website using WordPress, supporting English, Chinese, and Korean. To reflect the heritage of traditional Korean ondol, I incorporated design elements inspired by classic Korean aesthetics — including calligraphy-style typography, roof tile textures, and earthy tones reminiscent of charcoal and clay. The site was structured to clearly communicate both product information and business offerings for distributors and individual customers.
